Winemaker Frédérique Bachotet describes this estate's 2013s as more concentrated and potentially longer-lived than the 2014s--"and better in that sense." I found the '13s to be more gripping and intense. Bachotet bottled these wines last April.

Crop levels here were down about 25% in 2013, due to millerandage during the flowering and to the elimination at harvest of rotten and dried grapes on the vibrating table. Sérafin describes his 2013s as elegant wines, less ripe and full than the 2012s but with good balance for aging. He began harvesting on October 5, bringing in fruit with potential alcohol between 12% and 12.5% and chaptalizing lightly.
