This is an absolutely stellar set of wines from the Dehlinger family. The 2018 Pinots are every bit as impressive as they were from barrel. All of the strength of the vintage carries through to the Chardonnay, the two Syrahs and the Cabernet Sauvignon, which, by the way, is both monumental and an insane value. I also tasted two 2019 Pinots, wines that suggest a lighter vintage. Eva Dehlinger describes both seasons as moderate, although 2019 was a bit warmer. It will be interesting to see how the 2019s ultimately turn out. Over the last few years Dehlinger has added an extra dimension of finesse to the wines, and that really comes through in this tasting. These new releases are fabulous.
