One of the premises of the modern school in Piedmont was that the wines would drink well early yet have the ability to age. Today, the track record of most modern-school Barolos and Barbarescos is mixed at best. Bruno Nada's wines, though, delivered the goods when they were young and have also aged impeccably, making him one of the very few growers who has been able to achieve so much of what the modernists set out to prove.
