New winemaker Geraldine Godot, who previously made wine with Alex Gambal, vinified the 2014s here with Jacques Devauges before Devauges left to take over winemaking duties at Domaine Clos de Tart. The 2014 harvest here began on September 9 for the Chardonnay, but the team did not attack the Pinot Noir until the 15th. The fruit came in at 12% to 12. 5% potential alcohol and the wines will finish between 12. 5% and 13. 2%. Some of them will probably be suited for drinking before the estate’s 2013s, noted Godot.

The first two wines reviewed here had been bottled on the morning of my visit. The rest were still in barrels and were scheduled to be bottled in April.
