This is a stellar set of wines from Cantina del Pino and proprietor Renato Vacca. As has been the case for the last few years, Vacca prefers to give his wines a bit more time in bottle prior to releasing them. In 2013, the Nebbiolo harvest started the first week of October and was drawn out over a longer period of time than normal. The 2013s spent six months in French oak barriques and finished their aging in cask prior to being bottled in February 2016.
