There are plenty of highlights in this set of new releases from SAMsARA, but also a few wines that are less interesting than has been the case in the past. It is fascinating to taste these wines next to the Melville wines. At SAMsARA, the fruit is generally picked a bit less ripe, vinification is gentler, the wines see more time in barrel and are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
