I tasted a wide range of wines at Diamond Creek, including a number of older vintages, but missed the 2021s, which were being bottled around the time of my visit. I am curious to taste them, as they are the first wines overseen by the new team headed by Winemaker Graham Wehmeier and President Nicole Carter, excluding 2020, a freakish year from which no substantive conclusions can be drawn. The 2022 Cabernets are still coming together. They show the lighter style of the year, especially relative to the norm here.
