The charming Boots Brounstein is still a formidable presence at Diamond Creek, which she runs with her son, Phil Ross. The 2014s are very much in the style that defines Diamond Creek today, which is to say the wines still pack much of the structure and depth they have long been known for, but in an updated, polished style. Best of all, the 2014s will drink well with only minimal cellaring relative to the estate's more potent vintages.
