Owner Rob Jensen and his long-time winemaker, Bill Brosseau, produce an extensive range of full-flavored, concentrated wines from some of the Central Coast’s best-known vineyards. Testarossa has been producing wines from Santa Lucia Highlands fruit since 1997, and the quality attained in recent vintages, especially these 2016s, is the highest I’ve yet experienced. Yes, these are ripe, forward, fruit-driven wines, but I rarely find them tiring or, most important, incompatible with food.
