Adam Lee’s reputation for producing top-notch Pinot Noir from across California’s wine regions is well known, but he has also been doing noteworthy work in Oregon for years – back to 2003, in fact. He’s tightened up a pretty wide range of Siduri bottlings to make things more manageable. The single-vineyard 2019 Pinots were all made from fruit sourced from sites owned by Jackson Family Estates, who also wns Siduri. In the classic Siduri style, these are highly fruit-driven and accessible Pinots, but as has long been the case with these wines, the user-friendly style is deceptive, as the wines age impressively well. From a vibrant and balanced vintage like 2019, their cellar-worthiness is a given.

The 2018 Pinots are some of the most impressive wines I have tasted from Siduri. Winemaker Matt Revelette has given these wines an added bit of energy and vibrancy that is impossible to miss. Moreover, the delineation of site – so critical for vineyard designate bottlings – really comes through in the 2018s.
