The 2021s from Mauro Veglio build on the successes of the last few years. Harvest started in Gattera on October 1 and through to October 13 for Castelletto, Liriano and Manoncino in Serralunga. The single-vineyard wines now see about 20 days on the skins. Aging is done in French oak barrique (20-25% new), with the exception of the Paiagallo and Serralunga Barolos, which are aged in 30HL cask. More than anything else, these wines continue to impress with their increasing precision.
