Colleen and Nicholas Harbour left jobs in finance in Luxembourg to pursue a shared passion for wine. Maison Harbour sources fruit from a number of appellations for this range of micro-négociant offerings. Overall, I found the 2017s a bit light, even within this stylistic genre, but this was my first time tasting the wines, so it is hard to know exactly how much of that is attributable to yields and the overall character of the 2017 vintage versus stylistic choices, including picking decisions. My view is that a certain amount of depth is necessary to convey the truest essence of site. All that said, these attractive Burgundies suggest Maison Harbour is a winery to watch.
