This lineup from Brewer-Clifton is compelling. The Chardonnays in particular capture all the magic of 2019, but the Pinots aren’t too far behind. Greg Brewer is picking just a bit earlier these days, but his wines still have plenty of the textural richness his fans have come to expect. The Pinots are done with 100% stems (80% for the appellation wine) and see long ferments. Aging is around 16 months in barrel with no racking until bottling. The Chardonnay are done with a similarly minimalist aesthetic.
