Ott harvested relatively early, completing two passes through most of his vineyards before mid-October. "It was no easy year," he says, "with a big difference between the performance of young vines and old. "Given the high quality of the best wines here year after year, I am sorry to have to report that Ott is without a U. S. importer. Also recommended: 2003 Gruner Veltliner Am Berg.
