Not surprisingly, the 2015s at Raen are a pretty hard act to follow. Brothers Carlo and Dante Mondavi turned out three very pretty 2016s that are quite a bit more restrained than their younger siblings. At times, the 2016s are a bit fragile, while in other moments they come across as being closed and not fully expressive. My sense is that these wines still have quite a bit to say.
