Diana Snowden Seysses' 2014s are superb. In fact, these might be the finest wines I have ever tasted from her. The 2014s have plenty of richness and intensity, but there is also a level of sheer harmony I have not seen previously. Winemaking often comes down to knowing when to do what. The 2014s taste like Snowden Seysses nailed those decisions. The one exception to that is the Cabernet Sauvignon Rico's which the estate chose not to bottle. I also tasted a few of the 2015s from barrel. Snowden Seysses likes to blend early. I found the three 2015s I sampled all to be highly promising. The Snowden family has been through a lot of ups and downs with their property. It's great to see them doing so well.
