The 2015 Rivers-Marie Chardonnays and Pinots are quite possibly the best wines I have ever tasted here. Sadly, poor weather during flowering took with it much of the production. Yields are Burgundian in scale. Two of the wines (the Joy Road Chardonnay and Occidental Ridge Pinot) are a bit heavy and distorted by the unusually low yields. The rest of the wines are truly exceptional. Rivers-Marie fans will not want to miss the Bearwallow Pinot, which is new this year. The 2015 is Rivers-Marie's final Pinot from Kanzler.
