Odette continues to be in a state of evolution. The Stags Leap property has required considerable planting, a long-term project that is ongoing. Andrew Haugen was recently promoted to head winemaker after eight years of working in junior roles at Odette. What I would like to see from these wines is more Stags Leap character and clearer differentiation between the two main wines. Hopefully, that will come with healthier and older vineyards.
