The Nautilus team goes about their business quietly and competently, and that's reflected in the wines. The wines are always harmonious and understated, whether it is their Pinot Noir-dominant sparkling cuvée or their whole bunch pressed, large cuve-fermented Sauvignon Blanc, The Paper. Tasting the 2007 Pinot Noir more than ten years after its bottling shows good reason to cellar their reds. A small parcel of Albariño is one of the country's most competent to date.
