There’s plenty to like in these new releases from proprietor Jeff Nelson and winemaker James Sparks. The 2019 Chardonnays are all compelling. I would be thrilled to drink them any day of the week. In 2019, the Chardonnays seem especially precise, aromatic and delineated. Then again, Liquid Farm works with an enviable collection of vineyards. Pinot Noir is a more recent addition to the Liquid Farm range. Here, too, the wines are pretty strong. The Radian and Sanford & Benedict Pinots are especially fine. I am less enamored with the Spear Pinot, which lacks both depth and complexity.
