These new releases from Köfererhof and proprietor Günther Kerschbaumer are among the most pleasant surprises of the vintage. Naturally, the 2014s don't reach the level of the best wines here, but the overall quality level is strong for the year. Köfererhof represents artisan values in farming and winemaking that stand in stark contrast to those of many of the larger and more commercial wineries that have a high profile in Alto Adige.
