Extremely consistent over the last four vintages, Bernd and Andreas Spreitzer have also done an excellent job this year. All of the standard wines are impeccable, as are their top dry rieslings, kabinetts and spatleses. Although very good, the high-end dessert wines left a little to be desired. In terms of sheer value for money, my vote would go to the riesling "Charta" that is sadly seldom seen in the States.
