This is another strong set of wines from Gagliole, an estate that has quietly reinvented itself over these last few years. Most of the fruit now comes from the Panzano property, where the wines are also made, while about 30% of the grapes are grown at the original property in Castellina. Today's wines are still rich and textured, but have quite a bit more energy than in the early days.
