Akiko Freeman did a fabulous job with her 2020s, at least the wines that were possible to make under the circumstances. The Pinots, products of a late August harvest, were done with no stems. I have always thought of Freeman as more of a Pinot producer, but her Chardonnays are brilliant, and among the finest wines I have ever tasted here.
