It’s been a few years since I last tasted Enzo Boglietti’s wines. In that time, Boglietti has completely changed his approach. The 2019 Barolos I tasted for this report were all done with a much lighter hand than in the past. Among other things, that allows for much more precision and Barolos that speak to the essence of place. I was deeply impressed with these wines, Barolos that may ultimately prove to be an exciting new chapter for Boglietti. Bravo!
