Pierre Damoy describes 2013 as a very wet vintage, with three full weeks of rain in the spring. Damoy adds that by April, rainfall was equal to that of a normal year. As for the 2013s, they are classic Damoy Burgundies built on texture, but at the same time, the wines show lovely energy and brightness. Damoy fans will note two additions to the range, the Marsannay Bretigniere and a new Chambolle villages.
