"I begged my customers not to drink their 2005s too early," said Gerin. "The wines are extremely rich and need a long time in the cellar. I wonder how many collectors will be patient, though." Gerin described his young 2006s as "delicious, balanced wines that will taste good young." He went on: "They have gentle tannins and healthy acidity so they can age, but it won't be any problem to enjoy them soon-like 2004, in a way."
