I tasted this fall with Sophie Meunier-Confuron, as her husband Alain was away on a business trip. Sophie told me that she and Alain don't like the 2009s much, finding them heavy in spite of the fact that they picked early. Two thousand ten, she told me, was more their style. The wines were racked for the first time last June and a number of cuvees had been racked again about a month before my visit owing to reduction.
