I was thrilled with the wines I tasted with David Duband. The 2010s are fabulous. They show the weight, energy and transparency of the vintage. Of the 2010s, only the Morey St. Denis Clos Sorbe was too reduced to read. I also tasted a number of the 2009 grand crus, all of which have captured the potential I sensed when I tasted them from barrel. I will report on those wines in my April article. As a reminder, many of Duband's vineyards are farmed in metayage with François Feuillet. Readers may find those wines under either the Domaine David Duband or Domaine François Feuillet labels.
