Andy Erickson makes these wines for proprietor Xavier Cervantes. The estate is located in Pope Valley, which up until this point has not been considered an especially prestigious part of Napa Valley. Needless to say, it will be fascinating to see how things develop. The estate is young enough where quality is mostly being driven by experience that is gained over time rather than by the personality of vintages. The Cervantes wines are decidedly bold and luscious in feel.
