Bibiana Gonzalez-Rave makes wine for a number of labels including Wayfarer, Shared Notes (her label with husband Jeff Pisoni) and Cattleya, which is named after the native flower of Gonzalez-Rave's native Colombia. The 2014s are pure, direct and absolutely delicious. In addition to these wines, I also tasted the new lineup from Cattleya's second label, Alma de Cattleya. For now, those wines, all small lots, are destined for the Colombian market, but hopefully some of the production will find a home in the US in the coming years, as the wines offer terrific quality for the money.
