Brave & Maiden is one of the most improved estates in Santa Ynez. The wines have long been interesting, but recent vintages point to significant potential that is now being captured in the glass. The team led by Director of Winemaking Josh Klapper and Winemaker Victor Robaglia has really raised the bar here. Today, the wines are rich and also highly expressive of variety, but not at all overdone. Brave & Maiden is among the small number of estates that are redefining Santa Ynez.
