One of the larger and more grand operations in the Yarra, with a fine restaurant, Yering Station has always had a dependable range of estate wines with the odd stunner in the reserve collection. Today, relatively new Senior Winemaker Brendan Hawker is pushing hard at the top end, taking a more refined and nuanced approach to winemaking. This was particularly noticeable in barrel tastings of the 2023 vintage Chardonnay, illustrating quality here is on an upward trajectory.
