As usual, I tasted a wide and deep range of wines from one of Australia's largest and most consistent producers, with solid to outstanding quality pretty much across the board. I'd like to see a bit more personality in the lower-end white wines but they are well made and it's hard to fault them too much given their gentle pricing. Things get much more interesting as one moves up the ladder here: at the top end, Yalumba is producing some of Australia's best red wines as well as some of the New World's finest Viogniers.
