I would like to introduce the wines of the young and talented Martin Mittelbach from Loiben. You will not find the typical Wachau category names Smaragd, Federspiel or Steinfeder on the labels of this winery. Tegernseerhof is not a member of the Vinea Wachau because the family is from the Kremstal area and owns vineyards there that are also vinified in Loiben. Despite this fact, the Veltliner Hohereck and the Riesling Kellerberg have long been counted among the jewels of the Wachau. Wines labeled Creation are in an Auslese style and have noticeable residual sugar.
