2022 Pinot Noir Las Pizarras

Founded in the mid-19th century, Viña Errázuriz is a pioneer and major player in the Chilean wine export business. Businessman Eduardo Chadwick has run the operation since the 1980s. Convinced of the potential of Chilean terroirs, Chadwick set up several viticultural projects, beginning with Errázuriz. The winery specializes in the terroir of Aconcagua, where they grow grapes from the coast to the Andes. Overseen by oenologist Emily Faulconer (former winemaker at Viña Carmen) since 2024, the house focuses on the high-end wine projects: Pizarras Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, both sourced from the Arboleda Vineyard in Quillota on the Aconcagua coast, and both Chilean benchmarks. Their classic wines also include Don Maximiano, of which vintages are available dating back to the 1980s.
