Stony Hill is on the move. This year’s collection of new releases is full of highlights. Winemaker Reid Griggs finished the 2022 and 2021 Cabernets made by his predecessor Jaimee Motley. The 2022 Cabernets are experimental wines made from other sites within the Lawrence family’s collection of estates, while the 2021s are the first wines made from specific sections of the estate vineyard following an extensive analysis of soils and terrains. I was impressed with what I tasted.
