The story of the Zuccardi family mirrors that of the history of Argentine wine over the past 30 years: a shift from high-volume, low-level vineyards to high-altitude specialization in the Uco Valley. A key figure in that process has been Sebastián Zuccardi, director of oenology and viticulture and driver of developments in the Uco Valley. In 2017, the winemaker opened Piedra Infinita in Paraje Altamira, one of the most modern and interesting wineries on the Argentine scene. Their Aluvional wines and the Gravascal and Supercal parcels are theses in a bottle, and they’re accompanied by more accessible treats such as Polígonos Valle de Uco.
