It has been a few years since I last tasted the Ryme wines. In the meantime, proprietors Ryan and Megan Glaab have stepped up quality, which is always great to see. Ryan Glaab is currently the Assistant Winemaker at Wind Gap, where these wines are made. The Glaabs make an interesting range of wines from both Italian varieties and the Burgundian grapes that are more common in Sonoma. Stylistically, the Ryme wines tend towards the more restrained end of the spectrum.
