This is another superb set of wines from the Quintarelli family. It's great to see Quintarelli back on track after a series of challenging events, including the passing of Giuseppe Quintarelli and his wife in rapid succession. Today, Quintarelli's grandson Francesco, appears to have the estate under firm control. The construction of a new, modern cellar is a sign of investment in the future, which is of course great to see. As for the wines, well, they have no peers. Once readers acquire a taste for these heady wines there is no turning back. It's as simple as that.
