Sashi Moorman makes a wide range of wines at the various projects where he is involved, but seems to have a special affinity for Syrah, and in particular, the wines he makes under his own Piedrasassi label. The Santa Barbara County is a delicious appellation wine, while the John Sebastiano and Rim Rock capture the personalities of two of the very best sites in California. The wines are bold, powerful and intense, with impeccable balance and tons of personality.
