I was delighted to taste these new releases from Orma, the Bolgheri estate owned by the Moretti family of Sette Ponti. The pure Cabernet Franc Aola di Orma is especially notable this year. As is the case at Sette Ponti, the Orma wines are less extracted these days, which really allows the character of Bolgheri to shine through.
