This is gorgeous set of wines from Luc and Jodie Morlet. The reds get most of the attention here, but I would be remiss in not mentioning La Proportion Dorée, the Morlets' Sémillon-based white, which is especially of note in 2017. The Cabernets are terrific, both in absolute terms and within the context of this very challenging vintage. Morlet fans will also enjoy the three 2018 Pinots, wines that capture both the richness that is such a signature here along with the pedigree of the year. Lastly, the 2017 Syrah - a wine I don't hear much about - is positively stellar.
