Marcarini continues to be a fine source for well-priced, classically built Barolos. The 2018s spent 35 days on the skins, including submerged cap fermentation. The wines were vinified in cement, with the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations taking place at the same time. After settling, the wines were racked into cask, where they spent two years prior to bottling.
