Lexington is the Bordeaux-variety-focused side project of Thomas Fogarty Winery, producing wines off their Gist Ranch Estate, which was planted in 2000 at an average elevation of 2,400 feet. Tasting through the range of 2021s and one 2022 (the White Blend Alma), it’s clear that this site is well-suited to these varieties. The clear superstar of the range is the 2021 White Blend Alma, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, which stands as one of the finest domestic Bordeaux-style whites I’ve ever tasted.
