Wagram vintner Franz Leth, whom I have not visited in several years, is probably best known for his championing of Roter Veltliner and his impressively deep cellar of older exemplars, which represent by far the most impressive wines that I have sampled from him. But his production is, not surprisingly, dominated by diverse Grüner Veltliner, of which I had a chance from 2014 to sample the ostensibly best.
