Casa Lapostolle was founded in Colchagua in 1994 by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and Cyril de Bournet and is now run by their son, Charles de Bournet. Working with estate vineyards under the oenological direction of Andrea León, the winery produces ripe, expressive wines from Bordeaux and Mediterranean varieties. The cool 2021 and warm 2023 vintages marked turning points in the house style, ushering in a renewed focus on precision and balance. Recent releases in that spirit include the Clos du Lican Syrah and Viognier and Clos du Mendier GSM. The 2024 release saw the introduction of Condor de Apalta, launched under the Clos de Apalta label, followed by a new Rosé in 2025 called Gavillea—named for a native orchid found in Apalta.
