Kelley Fox’s 2016s were some of the most graceful Willamette Valley Pinots that I tried this year, which will be no surprise to those who have followed her wines over the years. She is one of only two winemakers outside the Maresh family who has access to fruit from their famed vineyard and in 2016 she made great use of it. Wine lovers who think that New World Pinot Noir is always too ripe, too fruity and too flamboyant owe it to themselves to check these bottlings out. It’s also worth noting that pricing here is extremely fair given the consistent quality of the wines.
