Although Theo Haart is loath to see himself in the spotlight, the quality of his 2005s has put him there. Everything he touched this year turned into liquid gold:his dryish-style riesling is a valiant effort, and his kabinetts, spatleses and ausleses are at the pinnacle of what the vintage produced. "All that I had to do was harvest the grapes," was his laconic read on his performance. With Lieser, Muller, Joh. Jos.
