This tiny domaine is located just outside Chablis proper. Guillaume Vrignaud and his family own 20 hectares of vineyards, which the estate has recently begun converting to biodynamic farming. Most of the wines are vinified and aged in steel, although some of the higher-end wines see oak, as described above. I especially like some of the simpler, entry-level wines in this range. Unfortunately, the Domaine Vrignaud wines have been available only sporadically in the US. Hopefully that will change in the near future.
